Two Consecutive B271 Leslie Kenneth O’Brien Ten Shillings Banknotes In Near Mint Condition.

These are the series A Britannia ten shillings banknotes issued on the 21st November 1955, with Prefix / Serial Numbers W43Y 528588 & W43Y 528589.

The two banknotes are high grade and have only extremely light signs of handling.

There is no writing, repairs, pin holes or tears on either of these ten shillings banknotes.

The B271 Ten Shillings was issued by the Bank of England in 1955. The note is brown-violet and brown on grey and pink underprint. The obverse features a seated figure of Britannia at left. The reverse shows the denomination within leaf designs.
