This five rupees banknote was issued in 1943, with Prefix / Serial Number A over 17 656077.
Although this is a high grade banknote, there are two pinholes to the left on the obverse.
This Indian banknote is the second issue in Green, Pink and Lavender on machine made paper with security thread. The obverse features the portrait of King George VI. The reverse depicts two blackbuck antelopes.
