This is the 1988 Issue, with Prefix / Serial Number 17S 044069.
This banknote does have multiple folds, there is also slight staining & a minor tear at the top of the note.
The B355 Gill banknote was issued by the Bank Of England. This note is purple on multicolour underprint. The Obverse features HM Queen Elizabeth II at the right, flowers at centre. The reverse features William Shakespeare at centre right.
