This is the 1955 Issue, with Prefix / Serial Number 63A 211764.

The banknote has been lightly used and folded.

There is no writing, repairs, pin holes or tears on this ten shillings banknote.

The B272 O’Brien replacement banknote was issued by the Bank Of England. This brown-violet and brown on grey and pink underprint note features a seated figure of Britannia at left on the obverse. You can also see the denomination to the right. O’Brien the chief cashiers signature and Prefix / Serial Number are also on the obverse. On the reverse the denomination is within leaf designs.
