This 2020 Queen coin is struck in fine silver with a proof finish by the Royal Mint. The obverse features the fifth crowned portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II facing to the right. Freddie Mercury’s grand piano, Roger Taylor’s bass drum, Brian May’s guitar and John Deacon’s bass. keys on the piano are pressed down in the opening notes. Proof coins are hand-finished to create a flawless effect, and are often struck multiple times with specially prepared dies to achieve a mirrored finish and clarity of detail.
