This coin comes in the original wooden box, and outer card presentation box. Presented inside the original capsule, the individually numbered certificate is included with this coin as issued by the Perth Mint.
This 2019 two ounce coin was struck by the Perth Mint in Australia. This coin was issued to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Queen Victoria. The obverse features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right.
The reverse has four effigies of Queen Victoria that have all featured on Australian coinage between 1857 and 1901. These include the “Young Head Portrait”, “Jubilee Portrait”, “Veiled Head Portrait”, “Sydney Mint Type II Portrait” and the St Edward’s Crown in the centre.
Proof Coins are hand-finished to create a flawless effect, and are often struck multiple times with specially prepared dies to achieve a mirrored finish and clarity of detail.
