The three coins have been struck in 22 carat Gold and have a combined weigh of approx. 13.96 grams.
This three coin set coin contains 0.411 ounces of fine Gold.
These three coins come in the wooden box, with black outer box and mauve card sleeve. The certificate and booklet are also included as issued by the Royal Mint.
The 2016 Full Sovereign coin weighs approx. 7.98 grams. The 2016 Half Sovereign coin weighs approx. 3.99 grams. The 2016 Quarter Sovereign weighs approx. 1.99 grams.
Each coin in this set has been photographed inside the capsule and have not been handled. There appears to be tiny toning spots on both sides of the full sovereign.
Each coin in this 2016 Gold Proof Three Coin Set feature the limited release Butler effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, with legend around. On the reverse side of this coin you can see Benedetto Pistrucci’s depiction of Saint George slaying a dragon. The coin’s date is also inscribed at the bottom of the reverse.
