This 2015 coin was struck by the Perth Mint in Australia and was issued to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of first Australian Sovereign coin. The obverse features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right. The reverse features St Edwards Crown, a laurel wreath and the word AUSTRALIA, historic elements of L C Wyon’s original Type I reverse. Also includes PERTH MINT, HALF SOVEREIGN and the ‘P’ mintmark (only on the 2015 coin).
