Set of Sixteen Silver Proof 2009 Fifty Pence Coins ‘The UK 50p Silver Proof Collection, 40th Anniversary (1969-2009) In Near Mint Condition.
Each Silver Proof Fifty Pence coin comes in a plastic coin capsule, and displayed in a large wooden black display box, with certificate/booklet all hosed inside a black card box, as produced by the Royal Mint. The Outer card black box has slight shelf wear.
There are minor surface marks & tarnishing on some of the coins.
These coins were issued to celebrate 40 years of the UK currency’s most distinctive coin, the 50p.
The obverse side of the coins features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right. The reverse images are all individual, they all mark different significant events in UK and European history and culture. This Collection includes the Kew Gardens Fifty Pence.
