The 2009 gold quarter ounce Britannia was struck by the Royal Mint. The obverse features the fourth crowned portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right. She is wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, with legend around. The reverse features the standing figure of Britannia in horse drawn chariot, holding trident in her left hand, with legend and date around.
This proof gold coin had a product issue limit of 1,000.
