Both coins have been struck in 22 carat Gold and weigh approx. 39.94 grams each. The equivalent of 1.177 ounces of fine Gold.

These 2005 five pounds, five sovereigns or quintuple sovereigns were struck to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar and the 200th anniversary of death of Admiral Lord Nelson by the Royal Mint.
