2005 Five Pounds Silver Proof Piedfort Set ‘ 200th Anniversary Nelson & Trafalgar ‘ In Near Mint Condition.
Both Coins have been struck in .925 Silver and weigh 56.56 grams each.
This is a commemorative issue marking the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar.
These two coins come complete with a hard green box, outer card sleeve, capsule & certificate/booklet as issued by the royal mint. There is slight shelf wear on the outer card sleeve, this can be seen in the photos.
These coins are in near mint condition, they have been photographed inside their capsules and has not been handled, on occasions these Royal Mint issues have the tendency to show signs of light toning.
These coins feature the portrait of Elizabeth II facing right on the Obverse. The reverse images are different, one features Royal Navy ships Victory and Temeraire in the midst of battle. The other features a uniformed portrait of Admiral Lord Nelson.
