The obverse of this gold coin features a right-facing portrait of Queen Elizabeth II designed by Arnold Machin, this portrait is the second coinage portrait of the Queen by Machin. On the reverse side of this coin you can see Benedetto Pistrucci’s depiction of Saint George slaying a dragon. The coin’s date is also inscribed at the bottom of the reverse.
