This is a nice example with good details. There are extremely light surface marks on both sides of this coin.

This coin comes in a plastic coin envelope.

The 1964 maundy fourpence is a coin struck in 0.925 silver by the Royal Mint. The Obverse features the young laureate bust of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, with legend around.  The Reverse of this coin depicts a crowned denomination dividing date within an oak wreath.

Maundy money is struck in denominations of one penny, twopence, threepence, and fourpence. Until the 18th century the coins were given from the circulating coinage, and it was not until the latter half of the century that the four Maundy coins developed as distinct, noncirculating pieces. In most years there are fewer than 2,000 complete sets of Maundy money issued.
