The 1942 Threepence is a coin struck in 0.500 silver by the Royal Mint. There is an uncrowned portrait of King George VI facing left, with legend around on the obverse. The reverse is completed with St. George’s cross. The Tudor rose dividing date, with legend above, and denomination below.
