1935 King George V Silver Crown Coin Coin In Extremely Fine Condition.
This coin has light surface marks on both sides.
The 1935 Crown was struck in 0.500 silver and was issued to commemorate the silver Jubilee of King George V by the Royal Mint. The Obverse features the uncrowned portrait of King George V facing left, with legend around. The Reverse features an Art Deco rendering of St. George slaying the dragon, with the denomination and date above. This coin was also affectionately know as the ‘rocking horse’ crown.
This 1935 silver crown had a mintage figure of 714,769.
