The 1929 Silver Wreath Crown, also known as the George V Wreath Crown or Christmas Crown, is a silver coin designed by George Kruger Gray for the Royal Mint. This coin was struck in 0.500 silver. The Obverse features the effigy of George V. A large royal crown surrounded by a wreath of shamrocks, roses, and thistles completes the Reverse design. This particular wreath design was only used on these coins between the dates 1927 & 1936 making it very popular and collectable.
