The 1926 silver Halfrown is a coin struck in 0.500 silver by the Royal Mint. There is an uncrowned portrait of King George V facing left, with legend around on the Obverse. The Reverse of this coin is completed by the crowned quartered shield of arms within Garter band, with legend around, and divided date below.
This 1926 coin is the second issue of the George V halfcrown and not to be confused with the modified effigy of the third issue.
