This is a high grade coin with some traces of mint lustre. There are extremely light surface marks on both sides.

The 1916 halfpenny was struck in bronze by the Royal Mint. The obverse side of the coin depicts the uncrowned portrait of King George V facing left, with legend around. The reverse side of the coin depicts Britannia seated to the right, the denomination around, date in exergue, with sea behind.
