The 1905 Shilling is a coin struck in 0.925 silver by the Royal Mint. This coin features the uncrowned portrait of King Edward VII facing right, with legend around. The reverse features a crowned lion passant atop crown dividing date, with legend above, and denomination below.
This silver shilling coin had a low mintage figure of only 488,390 making it the hardest of the Edwardian shillings to find.
