Both the Obverse and Reverse were designed by George Thomas Morgan. The Obverse features the bust of lady liberty facing left, wearing a cap and crown, with flowers in her hair and stars around the border. The text on the obverse reads “Liberty; E Pluribus Unum” with the date below. The reverse features an eagle holding arrows and an olive branch, within wreath.
