1891 Victoria Silver Halfcrown Coin In Used Fair Condition.

We would consider this coin a starter grade, it has been well used with surface marks on both sides.

This coin comes in a plastic coin envelope.

The 1891 Jubilee head Halfrown is a coin struck in 0.925 silver by the Royal Mint.  This Jubilee head design was issued to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee.  This more mature portrait of Queen Victoria on the Obverse was first seen on the silver halfcrown in 1887, the final coin with the Jubilee effigy was struck in 1892.  The Reverse of this coin depicts the shield of royal arms surmounted by a large crown.  A tiny St. George slaying the Dragon motif divides the date.

This silver halfcrown had a mintage figure of 2,284,632.
