This is an unusual coin, the die number appears to have been double struck with the second die number underneath the original date.

There are surface marks and edge nicks on both sides of this coin.

This Young head Sixpence is a coin struck in 0.925 silver by the Royal Mint.  This second type of the Young head design of Queen Victoria was used on the Obverse of the Sixpence between 1867 and 1880.  The Reverse features a crowned denomination within a wreath and date below.  The Reverse design is completed with die number 35 above the date.
