This is a nice example with sharp details. There is a scratch on the reverse and there are light surface marks on the obverse of this coin.

The Young head Shilling is a coin struck in 0.925 silver by the Royal Mint.  This second type of the Young head design of Queen Victoria was used on the Obverse of the Shilling between 1839 and 1867.  The Reverse of this coin depicts a crown, laurel and oak leaves within an open wreath, and the words “ONE / SHILLING” and “1866” with die number 63 above the date.
