There are light surface marks on both sides of this coin. The obverse has a nice dark silver toning.

This Young head Sixpence is a coin struck in 0.925 silver by the Royal Mint.  This first type of the Young head design of Queen Victoria was used on the Obverse of the Sixpence between 1838 and 1866.  The Reverse features a crowned denomination within a wreath and date below.
