1857 Victoria Silver Sixpence Coin In Near Mint Condition.

Although this coin has sharp details, there is light scratching on the reverse. The obverse has some tiny edge nicks and a small die flaw under the truncation. There is also some discolouration at the edges.

This Young head Sixpence is a coin struck in 0.925 silver by the Royal Mint.  This first type of the Young head design of Queen Victoria was used on the Obverse of the Sixpence between 1838 and 1866.  The Reverse features a crowned denomination within a wreath and date below.
