1844 Queen Victoria Copper Farthing Coin In Fair To Fine Condition.
The date and legend are readable. There is edge bruising and surface marks on both sides of this used coin.

The 1844 farthing was struck in copper by the Royal Mint. The obverse side of the coin features the first uncrowned portrait (‘Young Head’) of Queen Victoria facing left, with legend around, the date below, and initials on bust truncation. The reverse features the seated figure of Britannia, trident in left hand, shield with Union flag in right hand, with legend around, and the national flower emblems in exergue.
This 1844 farthing coin is a harder date to find and had a lower mintage figure of only 430,080.
