The 1838 maundy Twopence is a coin struck in 0.925 silver by the Royal Mint. The Obverse features the young uncrowned portrait of Queen Victoria facing left with legend around. This portrait is often referred to as the ‘Young Head’. The reverse depicts a crowned denomination dividing the date within an oak wreath.
