1827 King George IV Copper Penny Coin In Used Fair Condition.

The date and legend is clear on the obverse. There are harsh surface marks and scratching on both sides of this used coin. There is edge bruising on the reverse.

This coin comes in a plastic coin envelope.

The 1827 penny was struck in copper by the Royal Mint.  The obverse side of the coin Features the laureate portrait of King George IV facing left, with legend around, and the date 1827 below.  The reverse side of the coin depicts Britannia seated facing right holding a trident and resting her right hand on a shield.  A rose, thistle, and shamrock are united in the exergue.
