1819 King George III Overstruck Silver Shilling Coin In Fine Condition.
The second one in the date appears to be overstruck.
There are surface marks on both sides of this used coin.
The 1819 Shilling is a coin struck in 0.925 silver by the Royal Mint. The obverse of this coin features the Laureate portrait of King George III facing right, with legend around, and date below. The reverse features an ornate crowned Royal shield overlaid with smaller crowned shield, all within Garter.
