The 1807 penny was struck in copper by the Soho Mint. The obverse side of the coin Features the laureate and draped portrait of King George III facing right, with legend around, and date below. The reverse depicts a seated figure of Britannia facing left, with trident in left hand, olive branch in raised right hand, shield bearing Union flag resting at left, sea behind with ship to left, mint name on rock to right, legend above, plain exergue below.
