1787 King George III Silver Sixpence Coin In Good Very Fine Condition.

This coin is the variety  with a semee of hearts in Hanoverian arms on the Reverse.

There are light surface marks on both sides of this coin.

The 1787 sixpence was a coin struck in 0.925 silver in London by the Royal Mint under the reign of King George III. The Obverse features a laureate and draped bust facing right, with the Latin legend *GEORGIVS. III. DEI. GRATIA* surrounding it. The Reverse is completed with cruciform shields, with a semee of hearts in Hanoverian arms, crowns in angles and a garter star at the centre. The date is at the bottom of the coin with the Latin legend surrounding it.
