The 1763 maundy Threepence is a coin struck in 0.925 silver by the Royal Mint. The Obverse features a young laureate and draped bust of King George III facing right, with legend around. The reverse depicts a central denomination below a crown dividing the date, with legend around.

Maundy money is struck in denominations of one penny, twopence, threepence, and fourpence. Until the 18th century the coins were given from the circulating coinage, and it was not until the latter half of the century that the four Maundy coins developed as distinct, noncirculating pieces. In most years there are fewer than 2,000 complete sets of Maundy money issued.
