This coin has a dark silver look. There are light surface marks on both sides.
The 1741 sixpence was a coin struck in 0.925 silver in London by the Royal Mint. The Obverse features a left-facing young laureate bust of George II with legend around. The Reverse is completed with crowned cruciform shields around central Garter star, divided date above, and legend around. With roses in angles.
