1737 King George II Silver Shilling Coin In Good Fine To Near Very Fine Condition.

There are surface marks on both sides of this coin. There is a scratch on the reverse to the right of the central garter star. There is also a scratch on the obverse on the portrait of King George II.

The 1737 shilling was a coin struck in 0.925 silver under the reign of King George II. The Obverse features the younger laureate and draped bust of King George II facing left, with legend around. The reverse features crowned cruciform shields with central Garter star, divided date above, with legend around. This example features roses and plumes in angles on the reverse.
