1737 King George II Copper Farthing Coin In Fair To Fine Condition.

The date and legend are clear and readable. There is some edge bruising and there are surface marks on both sides of this used coin.

This coin comes in a plastic coin envelope.

The 1737 farthing was struck in copper by the Royal Mint. The obverse side of the coin features the young laureate and cuirassed portrait of King George II facing left, with legend around. The reverse features a seated figure of Britannia facing left, trident in left hand, olive branch in right, shield bearing the Union flag resting on left, with legend around, and date in exergue.
