The 1719 farthing was struck in copper by the Royal Mint. The obverse side of the coin features the second laureate and cuirassed bust of King George I facing right, with legend around. The reverse features a seated figure of Britannia facing left, trident in left hand, olive branch in raised right hand, shield with Union flag resting on left, with legend around, and date in exergue.
