1707 E Queen Anne Silver Halfcrown Coin In Fair Condition.

This coin has been well used with some of the legend starting to fade on the Obverse, there are surface marks on both sides, there is a scratch on the Reverse.

The 1707 E halfcrown is a 0.925 silver coin minted in Edinburgh.. The obverse features a left-facing draped bust of Queen Anne, with the letters “ANNE DEI GRATIA” around it and the letter “E” below for the Edinburgh mint. The reverse has a crowned cruciform shield with plain angles, featuring the combined arms of England and Scotland at the top and bottom, Ireland at the left, and France at the right, forming a cross shape. The badge of the Star of the Garter is in the centre, and the date “1707” is divided by the crown above the top joint arms.

This coin features the E mint mark below the bust of Queen Anne indicating the coin originates from Edinburgh.
