This coin has a dark silver appearance. There are surface marks and tiny edge nicks on both sides of this coin.

The 1704 maundy twopence is a coin struck in 0.925 silver.  This coin features the uncrowned draped bust of Queen Anne facing left, with legend around. The reverse features the denomination at the centre below a crown dividing date, with legend around.

Maundy money is struck in denominations of one penny, twopence, threepence, and fourpence. Until the 18th century the coins were given from the circulating coinage, and it was not until the latter half of the century that the four Maundy coins developed as distinct, noncirculating pieces.
