The British Gold Guinea
The British gold Guinea is a historic coin. The coin was struck in 22 carat gold and was first issued in 1663 during the reign of King Charles II. Larger five and two Guinea coins were also issued as well as fraction half Guineas, third Guineas and Quarter Guineas. The British Gold guinea remains one of the most historic and collectable coins.
