The 2012 gold quarter ounce Britannia was struck by the Royal Mint. The obverse features the fourth crowned portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right. She is wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, with legend around. The reverse features the standing figure of Britannia, holding a trident in her right hand, olive sprig and shield bearing the Union flag in her left, with legend around.
This proof gold coin had a limited edition presentation of 620.
