This coin was struck to commemorate the Memorial of Queen Elizabeth II. Featuring the Royal Coat of Arms of Queen Elizabeth II on the reverse.

This coin is in mint condition, this coin has been photographed inside the capsule and has not been handled, any marks seen on the listing photos are on the outside of the capsule.

The coin comes in the original wooden box, inner black box with outer card presentation box and booklet. The individually numbered certificate is also included with this coin as issued by the Royal Mint.

The 2022 proof half sovereign is a coin struck in 22 carat gold by the Royal Mint. The obverse of this coin features the uncrowned portrait of King Charles III facing left, with legend around. The reverse features the Royal Arms, at its centre a crowned and quartered shield supported by a crowned English lion on the left and a Scottish unicorn on the right, with date below.

Proof Half Sovereigns are hand-finished to create a flawless effect, and are often struck multiple times with specially prepared dies to achieve a mirrored finish and clarity of detail.
