1997 Coin & Banknote set, to mark ‘Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II & Prince Philip Golden Wedding’, In Mint Condition.

The set contains a commemorative Silver Proof coin. This coin has an intrinsic value of £5. This proof coin was struck in 0.925 silver and weighs approx. 28.28 grams. The reverse is designed by Leslie Durbin and combines the Royal Arms and the Arms of Prince Philip. Above the Arms is a Royal Crown beneath them is an anchor representing the Prince’s naval career. The obverse features the crowned portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, facing right.

The set also contains a B369cs Ten Pound banknote, which was issued in 22nd November 1993, with prefix/serial number HM50 000820.

The Bank of England have issued this cypher in honour of this very special occasion. HM50 will not be produced for general circulation and therefore, these are the only banknotes to have this cypher.

This coin and banknote set comes complete with a hard green box, capsule & certificate as issued by the Royal Mint.

This presentation set has a limited mintage of only 1,500.
