2002 Queen Elizabeth II Gold Proof Five Pounds Coin Golden Jubilee.

This coin was struck in 22 carat Gold and weigh approx. 39.94 grams. The equivalent of 1.177 ounces of fine Gold.

The coin comes in the purple box, with outer presentation sleeve.  The individually numbered certificate as issued by the royal mint.

This coin is in near mint to mint condition and has been photographed inside the capsule. There appears to be some toning on the obverse.

The 2002 five pounds, five sovereigns or quintuple sovereign was struck to celebrate the golden jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II by the Royal Mint.

The Obverse features the fourth crowned portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara. The reverse features Queen Elizabeth II on horseback.
