The B301 Fforde First Series banknote was issued by the Bank Of England. This deep green on multicolour underprint features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the right. The denomination, Fforde the chief cashiers signature and Prefix / Serial Number are also on the obverse. On the reverse Britannia is seated with a shield, holding spear and olive branch, in circle at centre right.
