1810 Brazil Gold 4000 Reis Coin In Good Very Fine Condition.
The 4000 Reis coin was struck in 0.917 / 22 carat gold and weighs approx. 7.91 grams. The equivalent of 0.232 ounces of fine Gold.
Although this coin has nice detail, the coin is slightly misshapen by the crown on the obverse, and the date on the reverse indicating it could possibly have been in jewellery or repaired.
This coin comes in a the plastic coin envelope.
The gold 4000 Reis is a gold coin struck in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The obverse features the Portuguese arms topped by the Royal Crown, flanked by the value, three flowers, with legend around. The reverse features St. George’s Cross in centre within ornaments and pearl necklace, surrounded by legend and date.
