P25b Burma One Rupee Banknote In Near Very Fine Or Better Condition.
This one rupee banknote was issued in 1945 – the old date of 1940 is on the reverse, with Prefix / Serial Number C over 90 138137 A.
This banknote has been well used and folded. There is some discolouration on both sides.
There is no writing, repairs, pin holes or damage on this one rupee banknote.
This Burma banknote features King George VI at the right. There is red overprint ‘MILITARY ADMINISTRATION OF BURMA LEGAL TENDER IN BURMA ONLY’ The reverse features a one rupee coin at the top left, value in 7 regional languages (Urdu, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil Kannada and Gujarati) in centre.
