This fifty dollars banknote is dated 31st March 1979, with Prefix / Serial Number 178820V.
This is a high grade banknote with light signs of handling. There are two tiny darker mark at the top of the reverse.
There is no writing, pin holes or damage on this fifty dollars banknote.
The obverse of this Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation banknote features the Royal coat of arms on the right. Four denominations in Arabic numerals and Traditional Chinese characters on top right and bottom right. Blank space on left for the watermark. The reverse features the original HSBC building and surrounding scenery at left and centre. Two denominations written in Traditional Chinese, one on top left and one on bottom left. Pattern of diverging rays on right for the watermark. Bank name and two denominations in Arabic numerals on top right, denomination in English written at bottom right.
