There are surface marks on this used coin. There are also edge bruising on both sides.

The 1903 Halfrown is a coin struck in 0.925 silver by the Royal Mint. There is an uncrowned portrait of King Edward VII facing right with the legend around. The Reverse features a crowned quartered shield of arms within a French garter with the motto *HONI SOIT. QVI MAL. Y PENSE.*. The date is located on either side of the garter buckle at the bottom, with HALF to the left and CROWN to the right.
This 1903 silver halfcrown coin had a low mintage figure of 274,840. This is the second hardest date to amongst the Edwardian halfcrowns.
