1885 Queen Victoria Bronze Farthing Coin In Near Mint Condition.
This is a nice example with good detail and near full mint lustre. There are light contact marks on both sides. There is a tiny edge nick on the reverse.
This coin comes in a plastic coin envelope.
The 1885 farthing was struck in bronze by the Royal Mint. The obverse side of the coin features the second laureate portrait (‘Bun Head’) of Queen Victoria facing left, with legend around. The reverse side of the coin depicts a seated figure of Britannia facing right, trident in left hand, shield with Union flag in right hand, denomination above, date in exergue, sea behind with lighthouse on left and ship on right.
This 1885 farthing coin had a mintage figure of 5,442,308.
